WELCOME

The Washburn County Board of Supervisors and the ad hoc jail project committee members have been working diligently to determine the best, most fiscally sound, option for addressing concerns with the current jail. We are excited to share the option proposed as it will provide a safer environment for the public, staff, and inmates. Great measures have been taken to ensure the County is not overspending and the new construction is done right, while keeping future growth and needs in mind.
